Dear Editor,
I was extremely pleased with the article in the June 2, 1994
edition of Pride,"A Star About to go Nova".
written by contributing writer Anthony Ennis.
It is so imperative that we showcase burgeoning talent in
the African Canadian community and support our brothers and
sisters in their endeavors to be successful.
I want to congratulate David Stevenson on his accomplishments
and his openness and honesty in accrediting God for his blessings.
So many times you find that people who "make it" in the business
forget that their is a higher presence moving their lives,
they become self contained and lose touch with their community.
It's refreshing to know that there are still people who have
achieved great things just as David Stevenson has, and still
openly give thanks and praise to the Creator and also find
time to give back to the community. May we all learn from
this brothers' example.
